The smartphone company announced its latest device Oppo A71 (2018) in Pakistan and Taiwan. It is the successor of the Oppo A71 that was launched in India last year at Rs.12990. It has much similarity to its predecessor except the RAM and the processor.
The device Oppo A71 has unibody metal and comes with 5.2-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal memory, expandable memory up to 256GB with microSD. It is powered by Octa-Core Snapdragon 450 14nm processor and runs on Android 7.1 (Nougat) with ColorOS 3.2. It has dual-SIM functionality, dimension of 143.1 x 73.8 x 7.6mm and weighs 137g.
The device has a 13MP rear camera with LED Flash, PDAF, f/2.2 aperture and a front-facing camera of 5MP with 1.4μm pixel size, f/2.4 aperture. It also has A.I. Beauty Recognition technology that uses artificial intelligence to recognize skin tone and type, the gender and age of all subjects within an image and analyze environment lighting conditions by referencing other facial images from a massive global photo database, to beautify a selfie shot.
Connectivity wise, it features 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and it is powered by 3000mAh.
The users can get the device Oppo A71 (2018) in Black and Gold colors at PKR 19,899 (US$ 179 / Rs. 11,465 approx.) in Pakistan.
