Last month, the device Asus ZenFone 5 Max with model number ASUS_X00QD received the WiFi certification from the WiFi Alliance (WFA). Now the details related to the device Asus Zenfone 5 with a model number “ASUS X00PD leaked through the manual and revealed its design. The leaked teaser image shows the dual rear cameras and the fingerprint sensor. It will have 5.7-inches Full HD+ 18:9 display, the volume rockers and power button placed on the right and the SIM tray is present on the left. It’s top shows the 3.5mm audio jack and the microUSB port along with speaker grills are present on the bottom.
According to the latest rumor, it will come with 3GB RAM. It will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC clocked at 1.4GHz Octa-Core processor and runs on Android 8.0 Oreo. The device will be announced at MWC 2018.
The predecessor Asus ZenFone 4 smartphone was launched in August 2017 and it comes with a 5.50-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 200GB via a microSD card. It will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor and runs on Android 7.0, dimension of 155.40 x 75.20 x 7.50 and weighs 165.00 grams.
It has a rear camera of 12MP and a front-facing camera of 8MP. It is powered by a 3300mAh non removable battery.
