Recently, a rumor was surfaced on the web that the device Samsung Galaxy A8+ (2018) will be launched soon. Now the smartphone company sent out the invites for the launching of Samsung Galaxy A8+ (2018) on 10th January. The invites comes with the notes- “Samsung invites you to witness the unravelling of the year’s first big innovation on Wednesday, January 10 2018,”. Since the device already announced in December last year.
The device Samsung Galaxy A8+ (2018) comes with 6-inch (1080×2220 pixels) Full HD+ Super AMOLED display, 6GB RAM with 64GB storage, 4GB RAM with 32GB storage, expandable up to 256GB via micro SD card. It has dual-SIM functionality, dimension of 159.9×75.7x 8.3 mm and weighs 191g. It comes with IP68 ratings for water and dust resistance. The Galaxy A8+ (2018) support Magnetic Secure Transmission (MST) and Near Field Communication (NFC) and are equipped with Samsung Pay. The fingerprint sensor is located at the back panel just beneath the primary camera. Further, both the phones are the first in A series to support Samsung Gear VR.
It is powered by Octa-Core (2.2GHz Dual + 1.6GHz Hexa) Exynos 7885 14nm processor with Mali-G71 GPU and runs on Android 7.1.1 (Nougat).
It has 16MP rear camera with LED flash, f/1.7 aperture and 16MP front camera with f/1.9 aperture, secondary 8MP camera with f/1.9 aperture.
Connectivity wise, it features 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth v5, NFC, USB Type-C. It is powered by 3500mAh battery with adaptive fast charging.
The users will get the device in Black, Orchid Grey, Gold and Blue color options.
