The latest Lava Prime X feature phone is announced in India at Rs. 1499. The Indian smartphone manufacturer LAVA launched its “Design in India” initiative, and is the company’s first mobile phone that is completely designed and manufactured in the country. We have no much detailed information related to it. The device will include a battery standby time of 17 days and will come with 2 years of warranty.
Since, the company has claimed that it will manufacture 30 lakh devices per month which are aimed to increase over 1 crore handset units/month with this initiative. Other than this, the company has also invested Rs 100 crore to set up a printed circuit board (PCB) assembly, which will start the production from February with 2.5 lakh units a month to 20 lakh by the end of the year. The date of its availability is still not confirmed by the company yet.
Last year, the Indian smartphone manufacturer launched its latest device Lava A93 at Rs 7,999. The device Lava A93 comes with a 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display, pixel density of 267 ppi, 2GB RAM. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It has 16GB of internal storage, which is expandable by up to 32GB via micro SD card. It comes with the dimension of 145 x 72.2 x 8.85mm and measures 152 grams.
The device has an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with HDR, Photo Timer, Grid and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. Both the cameras feature LED flash.
Connectivity wise, it features Dual SIM, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/AGPS, FM Radio, 3.5mm jack, USB 2.0, Ambient Light Sensor, G-Sensor and also have additional features like Smart Screenshot, Video PIP, Smart Music, Smart Gestures. The users can get the device in Gold and Grey versions.
