The rear panel of the upcoming device Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 surfaced on the web and showed a dual vertical camera setup on its back. It also revealed a fingerprint scanner and added with a quote “Mi Mix designed by Xiaomi”. Except these we have no much information related to it.
The predecessor Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 was announced in September, 2017. The device Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 comes with a ceramic body and uses Cantilever piezoelectric ceramic acoustic system instead of a standard earpiece, which allows the users to listen the calls without the earpiece.
The device features 5.99-inch (2160 × 1080 pixels) Full HD+ 18:9 display with 1500:1 contrast ratio, DCI-P3 color gamut, 6GB LPDDR4x RAM with 64GB / 128GB / 256GB (UFS 2.1) storage , 8GB LPDDR4x RAM with 128GB storage (Special Edition). It is powered by 2.45GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 835 64-bit 10nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 540 GPU and runs on Android 7.1 (Nougat) with MIUI 9. It has dual-SIM functionality.
The device Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 will have a 12MP rear camera with Sony IMX386 sensor, 1.25μm pixel size, f/2.0 aperture, dual-tone LED flash, 4-axis OIS, 4K video recording and a front-facing camera of 5MP with facial recognition, 1080p video recording.
It has the dimension of 151.8x 75.5 ×7.7 mm and weighs 185g (Standard); also its special edition comes with the dimension of 150.5x 74.6 ×7.7 mm and weighs 187g.
Connectivity wise, it features 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11ac dual-band (2×2 MU-MIMO), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, USB Type-C. It is powered by 3400mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging.
