The Huawei’s sub-brand Honor sent out the invitation for the launching of Huawei Honor 9 Youth on 21st December at Shenzhen Futian Sports Park, Shenzhen in China. It will be the successor of the Honor 8 Youth. The company has also launched Huawei Honor 9 in June, 2017. The Huawei Honor 9 Youth Edition has already spotted on TENAA in China.
According to the latest rumor, the device Huawei Honor 9 Youth will come with a 5.65-inch display with the resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels, an aspect ratio of 18:9. It will be powered by Kirin 659 chipset with 2.36 GHz processor and runs on Android 8.0 Oreo. It will be powered by a 2,900mAh battery. It will include a front and rear dual cameras of 13MP and 20MP.
The users will get the device Huawei Honor 9 Youth of 32 GB storage + 3 GB RAM version at 1,299 Yuan (~$196), while The 64 GB + 4 GB RAM model of the phone will be available at 1,599 Yuan (~$242) in different colors including black, white, blue and gray.
Its predecessor Huawei Honor 9 comes with a 3D metal and glass body comes with 5.15-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD 2.5D curved glass display, 4GB RAM with 64GB storage, 6GB RAM with 64GB / 128GB storage, expandable memory with microSD card slot. It is powered by Octa-Core Huawei Kirin 960 (4 x 2.4 GHz A73+ 4 x 1.8 GHz A53) processor + i6 co-processor, Mali G71 Octa-core GPU and runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat) with EMUI 5.1. The device has Hybird Dual SIM functionality. It has a fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button.
It has dual rear camera of 20MP (Monochrome) and 12MP (RGB) with dual-tone LED flash, Laser AF, PDAF, CAF, f/2.2 aperture, 4K video recording and a front-facing camera of 8MP with f/2.0 aperture.
Connectivity wise, it features 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C and it is powered by 3100mAh battery with fast charging.
