A couple of devices Gionee M7 and Gionee M7 Power were announced in September. Now the smartphone company is likely to announce a latest device Gionee M7 Plus in coming days. The hands-on-images of the device Gionee M7 Plus revealed its front and rear design. There is expectation that the device will come with display of 6.43-inch with an 18:9 ratio. It also revealed that it will feature the latest Amigo 4.0 UI that will be placed on top of Android Nougat 7. Its back panel showed a plastic cover. Its dual camera will have a dual-LED flash and a fingerprint scanner below the camera. The date of its announcement and its cost is still unknown.
The device Gionee M7 Power / Big Gold Steel 2 has a unibody metal design comes with 6-inch (1440 x 720 pixels) 18:9 FullView 2.5D curved glass display, 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage, expandable memory up to 256GB with microSD. It is powered by 1.4GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 435 processor with Adreno 505 GPU and runs on Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) with Amigo OS 5.0. It has Hybrid Dual-SIM functionality, dimension of 156.3 × 75.6 × 8.6mm and weighs 187g. It has dual security chips that have passed EAL6 security test along with a built-in security encryption chip for safe mobile payments.
It features a 13MP rear camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, PDAF and a front-facing camera of 8MP.
Connectivity wise, it includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and supports 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio. It is powered by 5000mAh built-in battery with fast charging.
