The smartphone company Xiaomi launched Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A in China last month. Now the live image of the device Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 surfaced on the web via Chinese microblogging website, Weibo and it revealed the rear panel of the device and also showed the device Redmi Note 5 inside a casing. It will be the successor of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 that was launched in January this year in India.
According to the latest rumor, the device Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 will come in two versions. It will sport a 5.5-inch full HD display with 1920 x 1080 pixels, internal storage capacity of 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB. It will be powered by Snapdragon 630 and MediaTek Helio P25 chipset. It will also include a fingerprint sensor below the dual cameras at the back and will have a USB-C port instead of MicroUSB port. It will be powered by 4,000mAh battery with QuickCharge 3.0 support.
It will feature dual rear cameras of 16MP and a 15MP secondary sensor and a front-facing camera of 13MP.
The cost of the device is still unconfirmed, but it is expected that its basic version will cost $200 (Rs 12,976).
