Sharp Aquos R Compact announced with 3GB RAM and Android Oreo

CaptureThe smartphone company Sharp announced its latest device Sharp Aquos R Compact. It will be the successor of the Sharp Aquos R that was announced in April, 2017.
The device Sharp Aquos R Compact comes with a 4.9-inch IGZO full HD+ display with screen resolution of 2032 x 1080 pixels, 3GB RAM, internal storage capacity of 32GB, which can be expanded up to 256GB via microSD card. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 octa-core processor and runs on Android 8.0 Oreo. It has the dimension of 132 x 66 x 9.6 mm and weighs 140 grams. It has a fingerprint scanner placed in its home button and has dual-SIM functionality. It has water and dust resistant (IP 68) body and a Type-C USB port is placed on its bottom.  The device comes with pre-loaded company’s own AI assistant dubbed as EMOPA, which gives the user audio and text messages and changes the screen, depending on the time, place, and user’s personal needs.
The device Sharp Aquos R Compact has a rear camera of 16.4MP with LED flash, hybrid AF and PDAF and a front-facing camera of 8MP.
Connectivity wise, it features 4G/LTE with VoLTE network and comes with all basic connectivity options like WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth 5.0 etc. It is powered by a 2,500 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support.
The users can get the device Sharp Aquos R Compact in Amethyst Purple, Diamond Yellow, Tourmaline Black, and Moon White colors. The cost of the device is still unconfirmed but it will be available in late December via Softbank Japan.
