The HMD Global sent out the invites for the launching of its latest device Nokia 7 on 19th October at 10:30am CST (8am IST) in Shangai. At the mean time, a teaser also confirmed the same date and points to the number ‘7’, or Qi in Chinese. The specifications of the device didn’t reveal by the press invite. But according to the latest rumor via Nokia Mob, the device Nokia 7 will come in three versions including 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage, 4GB RAM/ 32GB storage, and 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage. It will be powered by a Snapdragon 630 SoC chipset.
There is also expectation that the device Nokia 8 will be launched soon in China. Since, the device has already been announced in August this year.
The device Nokia 8 has an organic full aluminum unibody design, from a single block of 6000 series aluminum, with mirror finish look. It has 5.3-inch (2560×1440 pixels) Quad HD LCD display at 554ppi pixel density, sculpted Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, 700 nits brightness. The device comes with 4GB DDR4X RAM, 64GB (UFS 2.1) storage, expandable memory up to 256GB with microSD card slot. It is powered by Octa-Core Snapdragon 835 processor with Adreno 540 GPU and runs on Android 7.1.1 (Nougat), upgradable to Android O. It has Single / Hybrid Dual SIM functionality. It features a Fingerprint sensor and a Barometer. The device has the dimension of 151.5 x 73.7 x 7.9 mm. It has Dual-Sight technology that uses both front and back cameras simultaneously, fusing both images together into one photo or video file.
It has a 13MP (Colour) primary camera with OIS + 13MP (Mono), ZEISS optics, 1.12um pixel size, f/2.0 aperture, 76.9-degree wide-angle lens, PDAF, IR range finder, dual tone flash and a 13MP auto focus front-facing camera with ZEISS optics, PDAF, 1.12um pixel size, f/2.0 aperture, 78.4˚ lens.
Connectivity wise, it features 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (MIMO), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/ GLONASS, USB Type-C 3.1 Gen 1, NFC and it is powered by a 3090mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0.
