A couple of months ago, the device Xiaomi Mi Max 2 with 4GB RAM, 64GB storage capacity, 5300mAh battery launched in India for Rs. 16999. Now the company launched the 32GB storage version of the device for the Indian users at Rs. 12999. Both the versions have similar specifications except the storage capacity.
The device Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a unibody metal design with 6.44-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS 2.5D curved glass display with 450nits brightness, 1000 : 1 contrast ratio, 72% NTSC color gamut, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It has 4GB RAM, 32/64GB internal storage, expandable memory with microSD. The device is powered by 2GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 14nm processor with Adreno 506 GPU and runs on MIUI 8 based on Android 7.1.1 (Nougat). It has Hybrid Dual –SIM functionality, dimension of 174.1×88.7×7.6mm and weighs 211g.
It has 12MP rear camera with dual-tone LED Flash, PDAF, f/2.2 aperture, Sony IMX386 sensor, 1.25μm pixel size and a front-facing camera of 5MP with 85-degree wide-angle lens, f/2.0 aperture. It features a Fingerprint sensor, infrared sensor.
Connectivity wise, it includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4 / 5GHz) MIMO, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C and supports 3.5mm audio jack, stereo speakers.
It is powered by a huge 5300mAh battery with support for Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 along with parallel charging that lets the users to charge the phone up to 68% in one hour.
The users can get the device Xiaomi Mi Max 2 4GB + 32GB version in Black version at Rs. 14,999, but it will be available at on offer of Rs. 12,999 via Amazon.in and Mi.com on 20th September.
