Last month, the upcoming device Samsung Galaxy S8 Active spotted on GFXBench and revealed few of its specifications. Now the device Samsung Galaxy S8 Active with the model number SM-G892A received the FCC Certification.
According to the latest rumor, the device Samsung Galaxy S8 Active will sport a 5.8-inch AMOLED display, 4GB of RAM. It will be powered by a Snapdragon 835 Soc chipset and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat. It will come with with IP68 dust-and-water resistance certification. The device will gain more durability due to the MIL-STD-810G. AT&T logo can be seen at the lower back of the device. The device Samsung Galaxy S8 Active will be the successor of the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active that was announced in June, 2016.
The device Samsung Galaxy S7 Active sports Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen of 5.1” with the resolutions of 1440 x 2560 pixels , pixel density of 576 ppi, dimension of 148.8 x 74.9 x 9.9 mm and weighs 184.8 g. It has 4 GB RAM, internal storage capacity of 32GB, which can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card slot. It is powered by Quad-Core Snapdragon 820 chipset with Dual-core 2.15 GHz Kryo & dual-core 1.6 GHz Kryo processor with Adreno 530 GPU and runs on Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow).
It has Shock proof, IP68 ratings water and dust resistance and features a Fingerprint sensor and Barometer.
The device includes a rear camera of 12 MP with f/1.7, 26mm, phase detection autofocus, OIS, LED flash and front-facing camera of 5 MP with f/1.7, 22mm, dual video call and Auto HDR.
Connectivity wise, the device features Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, Micro-SIM, 3G, 4G/ LTE.
