Last year, the upcoming device Asus X00GD spotted at TENAA with leaked specifications. Now the device received the WiFi certification from the WiFi Alliance (WFA). The WiFi certification listing revealed almost the similar specifications as showed by TENAA.
According to the Wi-Fi certification, the Asus X00GD will support single-band Wi-Fi a/b/g/n (2.4GHz) and Wi-Fi Direct connectivity features. It will be powered by Android 7.0 Nougat.
Earlier the TENAA listing unveiled that the device Asus X00GD smartphone will sport a 5.2-inch display with the resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels, dimension of 149.5 x 73.7 x 8.85 mm and weighs 169 grams. It will be powered by an octa-core 1.5 GHz processor and runs on Android 7.0–7.1.1 Nougat.
The device will include a rear camera of 13 MP with dual LED flash and a front-facing camera of 8MP. It will equip a massive 4850 mAh battery.
There is expectation that the device will come in various versions including with 2 GB, 3 GB, or 4 GB of RAM, and 16 GB, 32 GB, or 64 GB of storage space and also it will be expandable via microSD card slot.
The exact date of its announcement hasn’t confirmed by the company yet, but it is expected that it will be announced soon.
