The images of the unannounced device Motorola Moto G5S surfaced on the web via Android Authority. The images showed the device in different colors including gray, gold, and dark blue in full- metal body. It will be the successor of the device Moto G5, that was launched last month. The Moto G5S will come with a 5.2-inch screen with 1080p resolution. The date of its announcement is still unconfirmed, but it is expected that it will be announced in coming days.
Motorola Moto G5 features a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display with Corning Gorilla glass 3 protection and is powered by 1.4GHz Octa-Core 64-bit Snapdragon 430 (MSM8937) processor with Adreno 505 GPU. It runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat).
In the rear side of the device it has a 13MP camera with LED flash, PDAF, f/2.0 aperture, 1080p video recording and in the front side it has a 5MP camera with OmniVision OV5693 sensor, f/2.2 aperture. It has also 3GB RAM, 16GB internal memory, expandable memory up to 128 GB with microSD.
The smartphone measures 144.3x73x9.5 mm; Weight: 144.5g. Connectivity wise it has 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n ((2.4 & 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio and Front-ported loudspeaker. The Moto G5 comes with a metal body and boasts a splashproof design. It has a removable back cover as well as a removable 2800mAh battery with support for rapid charging. It also comes with dedicated dual SIM slots; microSD card slot and a fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button and also have water repellent nano-coating.
