Asus launched a latest Asus ZenPad 3S 8.0 with model number Z582KL at an event at Computex in Taipei. It is the successor of the ZenPad 3 8.0 Z581KL, that was announced in August, 2016.
The tablet Asus ZenPad 3S 8.0 in aluminum unibody sports 7.9” display with the resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels, 3 GB RAM/4GB RAM, internal storage capacity of 32GB/64GB. It is powered by Snapdragon 652 chipset and runs on Android Nougat 7.1. It comes with a rear camera of 13 MP and a front-facing camera of 5 MP.
The cost and its availability are still not confirmed yet.
As we know the predecessor tablet Asus ZenPad 3 8.0 (Z581KL) has the thickness of 7.57mm with metallic frame.
The tablet Asus ZenPad 3 8.0 sports IPS display of 7.9” with the resolution of 2048×1536pixels with 178-degree viewing angle. It comes with 2GB/4GB LPDDR3 RAM, internal storage capacity of 16GB/32GB, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card slot. It has the dimension of 136.4 x 205.4 x 7.57 mm and weighs 320g.
It is powered by Hexa-Core Snapdragon 650 (4x 1.4GHz ARM A53 + 2 x 1.8 GHz ARM A72) 64-bit processor with Adreno 510 GPU and runs on Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) with ZenUI 3.0.
The camera section of the device includes a rear camera of 8MP and a front-facing camera of 2MP.
Connectivity wise, the device features 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac/b/g/n (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C port.
It is powered by 4680 mAh battery. It also comes with Dual-front facing stereo speakers, DTS-HD audio, 7.1-channel. It has also offered a separate Zen Clutch protective case for storing ID and credit cards.
