Last month, the upcoming device Alcatel Idol 5 showed its presence on GFXBench with leaked and revealed its specifications. Now the device gets Wi-Fi certification from the WiFi Alliance (WFA) and revealed few details related to it.
According to the Wi-Fi certification, the device Alcatel Idol 5 will support dual-band Wi-Fi a/b/g/n (2.4GHz, 5GHz) and Wi-Fi Direct connectivity. It also unveiled its model number as 6060X with the certification ID WFA71840 and the date of its certification showed as 12th May 2017. Except these it didn’t give much information.
The GFXBench listing revealed that the device Alcatel Idol 5 will come with 5.2” with Full HD resolution, 3GB RAM, internal storage capacity of 32GB. It will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset with eight Cortex A53 cores, clocked at 2 GHz along with Adreno 506 GPU and runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. It will come with rear camera of 12MP with a LED flash and a front-facing camera of 8MP.Connectivity wise, it will include Bluetooth, GPS, and WiFi and also it will support accelerometer, gyroscope, light sensor and proximity sensor.
The date of its announcement is still unconfirmed, but it will be announced soon.
