After the announcement of LG Watch Style and Watch Sport smartwatches in February, 2017, now Verizon has finally decided to launch its latest smartwatch Verizon Wear24 on 11th May. The carrier Verizon Wireless didn’t reveal the name of the manufacturer of the smartwatch yet.
The smartwatch Verizon Wear24 will sport a 1.39-inch AMOLED display, 768MB of RAM, 4GB of storage. It will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Wear 2100 SoC chipset and runs on Android Wear 2.0 . The smartwatch will come with a 42 mm watch case and a thickness of 13.5 mm.
It will also have an IP67 rating for water resistance, which will make it safe up to 3.3 feet of water for up to 30 minutes. The watch will feature built-in LTE connectivity and it will be powered by a 450 mAh battery with wireless charging.
The users will get the smartwatch Verizon Wear24 in three colors including Stainless Steel, Gunmetal Black, and Rose Gold.
It will be available on Verizon at $299.99 with a new two-year contract, or the users have the option to get it at $349.99 without contract.
