Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ launched in India

Samsung galaxy S8+Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ with Iris scanner already announced in New York last month. Now, the company finally launched both the devices India at its fixed schedule, as stated earlier. Both the smartphones come with Infinity Display, bezel-less screen. The company has removed the hardware home buttons that were carrying from long time and now replaced it with software buttons.
The device Samsung Galaxy S8 sports 5.8-inch Quad HD+ (2960 × 1440 pixels) Super AMOLED Infinity display with 570ppi, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It has 4GB LPDDR4 RAM with 64GB storage (UFS 2.1), which can be further expanded upto 256GB via microSD card slot.
It is powered by Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 with Adreno 540 GPU / Octa-Core Samsung Exynos 9 Series 8895 processor with Mali-G71 MP20 GPU and runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat). It has a Single / Hybrid Dual SIM functionality.  It has the dimension of 148.9 x 68.1 x 8.0mm and weighs 152g.
It has 12MP Dual Pixel rear camera with LED Flash, f/1.7 aperture, 1/2.55″ sensor size, OIS, 1.4µm pixel size and an 8MP auto focus front-facing camera with f/1.7 aperture, 1/3.6″ sensor size, 1.22µm pixel size, 80-degree wide-angle lens. It has Water and dust resistant (IP68) body. It supports Ultra High Quality Audio Playback PCM: Up to 32 bits; DSD: DSD64/128.
Connectivity wise, it features 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4/5GHz), VHT80 MU-MIMO, Bluetooth v 5.0 (LE up to 2Mbps), GPS with GLONASS, USB 2.0, NFC, MST. The users can get Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ come in Midnight Black and Maple Gold colors, while the S8+ also comes in Coral Blue color. The cost of Samsung Galaxy S8 is Rs. 57,900 and the Galaxy S8+ priced at Rs. 64,900.

Both the smartphones will be available for pre-order on Flipkart and Samsung Shop, and it will be available from 5th May, 2017.

The company offers a free Convertible Wireless Charger and all the S8 and S8+ users get a Double Data offer on the Jio on recharge of Rs. 309 (448 GB of 4G data over 8 months) to those users who has pre-booked the smartphones.
