The device Motorola Moto G5 was announced in February at MWC, 2017. After that it launched in India earlier of this month. Now the company has finally prepared to launch the device in Canada on 3rd May.
Moto G5 features a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display with Corning Gorilla glass 3 protections and is powered by 1.4GHz Octa-Core 64-bit Snapdragon 430 (MSM8937) processor with Adreno 505 GPU. It runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat).
In the rear side of the device it has a 13MP camera with LED flash, PDAF, f/2.0 aperture, 1080p video recording and in the front side it has a 5MP camera with OmniVision OV5693 sensor, f/2.2 aperture. It has also 3GB RAM, 16GB internal memory, expandable memory up to 128 GB with microSD.
The smartphone Moto G5 measures 144.3x73x9.5 mm; Weight: 144.5g. Connectivity wise it has 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n ((2.4 & 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and Front-ported loudspeaker. The Moto G5 comes with a metal body and boasts a splashproof design. It has a removable back cover as well as a removable 2800mAh battery with support for rapid charging. It also comes with dedicated dual SIM slots; microSD card slot and a fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button and also have water repellent nano-coating.
The users will get the device Moto G5 at CAD 250 with a no-term contract via Bell MTS, SaskTel, Videotron, and Virgin Mobile. The company has yet not decided when will be the higher version Moto G5 Plus will be officially launched in Canada.
