Motorola Moto G5 launched with Android 7.0, 4G VoLTE in India

Recently, Lenovo’s sub-brand, Motorola sent out the invites for the launching of its next model Motorola Moto G5 in India on 4th April, 2017 and today it has finally launched Moto G5 smartphone in India.

Moto G5 features a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display with Corning Gorilla glass 3 protection and is powered by 1.4GHz Octa-Core 64-bit Snapdragon 430 (MSM8937) processor with Adreno 505 GPU. It runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat).

In the rear side of the device it has a 13MP camera with LED flash, PDAF, f/2.0 aperture, 1080p video recording and in the front side it has a 5MP camera with OmniVision OV5693 sensor, f/2.2 aperture. It has also 3GB RAM, 16GB internal memory, expandable memory up to 128 GB with microSD.

The smartphone measures 144.3x73x9.5 mm; Weight:144.5g. Connectivity wise it has 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n ((2.4 & 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio and  Front-ported loudspeaker. The Moto G5 comes with a metal body and boasts a splashproof design. It has a removable back cover as well as a removable 2800mAh battery with support for rapid charging. It also comes with dedicated dual SIM slots, microSD card slot and a fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button and also has water repellent nano-coating.

The Moto G5 will be available in Lunar Gray and Fine Gold colors and its price is Rs 11,999 and will be exclusively available on Amazon India starting midnight (11:59:59 PM) today. The Moto G5 will have a pre-loaded AmazonDeals widget, PrimeVideo app and Kindle app.

Moreover, company has also announced various launch offers which is applicable till 5th and 6th April. Amazon Prime customers will get Rs.1000 in Amazon Pay balance. HDFC credit card users will get Rs. 1000 cashback. Early buyers will also get 16GB micro SD card along with the Moto G5.
