Gionee announced Gionee M6S Plus, which is the successor of the Gionee M6 Plus. It comes with an encrypted chip to secure a user’s personal data and also for secured calls and SMS, in the Chinese version and has EAL4 + security certification, which offers two-level fingerprint encryption.
The Gionee M6S Plus is a Dual- SIM device which features 6-inch (1920× 1080 pixels) Full HD AMOLED 2.5D curved glass display, 6GB LPDDR3 RAM, 64GB /256GB Internal memory, expandable memory up to 256GB with micro SD, dimension of 163.3 x 80.9 x 8.25mm and weighs 215g .
It is powered by Octa Core Snapdragon 653 processor (Quad 1.95GHz ARM Cortex A72 + Quad 1.44GHz A53 CPUs) with Adreno 510 GPU and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with Amigo OS 3.5.
Connectivity wise, it includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, USB OTG and it is powered by 6020mAh battery with fast charging.
It will be available in Ink Black color at 3499 yuan (US$ 508 / Rs. 32,750 approx.) for the 64GB version and it’s 256GB version will cost cost 4299 yuan (US$ 625 / Rs. 40,240 approx.). The company has started its pre-order in China and will start its sale next month.
