Recently, the Samsung Galaxy Xcover 4 spotted on GFXBench with leaked specifications. Now the company finally announced the latest rugged smartphone Samsung Galaxy Xcover 4 at the cost of 259 Euros (US$ 272). It is the successor of the Samsung Galaxy XCover 3 that was launched in March, 2015.
Samsung Galaxy Xcover 4 sports 4.99-inch (1280 × 720 pixels) HD display, 2GB of RAM, internal storage capacity of 16GB, which can be further expanded via microSD card slot. It is powered by 1.4GHz quad-core Exynos 7570 processor and runs on Android 7.0. It has IP68 certification, dust proof and also comes with US Military Standard MIL-STD 810G.
The camera section of the device includes a rear camera of 13MP with LED Flash, f/1.9 aperture and a front-facing camera of 5MP. It is powered by a non removable 2800mAh battery.
Connectivity wise, it features 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/GLONASS, NFC and also comes with a Proximity sensor, Accelerometer and Ambient light sensor.
The users can get the device Samsung Galaxy Xcover 4 in black color and the company will make it available in Europe from April, 2017.
