The upcoming device Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017) showered its presence on Geekbench and revealed that it will sport 2GB RAM. It will be powered by Exynos 7870 SoC chipset and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat. Also the WiFi certification already unveiled that it will run on Android 6.0 Nougat.The cost as well as its date of availability is still unconfirmed.
It’s predecessor Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016) sports HD Super AMOLED display of 5.2”with the resolutions of 1280×720 pixels, a pixel density of 284ppi , 2GB RAM , it has the internal storage capacity of 16GB, which can be further expanded up to 128GB. It has the dimension of 145.8 x 72.3 x 8.1 mm and weighs 159 grams.
It is powered by a quad-core processor of 1.2GHz and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based TouchWiz UI .The device supports dual –SIM dual standby.
Connectivity wise, the device comes with 4G-LTE, VoLTE, NFC, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and microUSB 2.0 port.
The camera section of the device includes a 13MP rear camera with f/1.9 aperture, LED flash and supports 1080p video recording at 30fps.Also a front-facing camera of 5MP with f/1.9 aperture and LED flash to capture magnificent selfie even in low-light conditions.
It is powered by a battery of 3100mAh, which offers standby time up to 369 hours.
