Earlier of this month, the upcoming device Xiaomi Mi 5c received the 3C certification and revealed its images along with specifications. Now the device spotted on GeekBench with the score of 679/2421 (single-/multi-core GeekBench 4), which is almost similar to the score 680/2400, that was gained a couple of days ago. Since it is the second time, the device has been spotted in the listing. Last year, it has already with the same codename Xiaomi Meri appeared in the GeekBench listing.
According to the latest rumor, Xiaomi Mi 5c will come with metallic back without the brushed finish. It will sport a Full HD 2.5D curved glass display of 5.5” with the resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, 3GB of RAM, internal storage capacity of 64GB. It will be powered by 2GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 14nm processor with Adreno 506 GPU / 2.2GHz Octa-Core Xiaomi Pine core 14nm processor with Mali-T860 MP4 GPU and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with MIUI 8. It will have dual-SIM functionality. It will have a fingerprint sensor on the front and include an Infrared sensor and will equip a 3,200mAh battery.
The camera section of the device will include a rear camera of 12 MP with dual-tone LED flash, 1080p video recording and a front-facing camera of 8MP. The device will also come with NFC support.
Connectivity wise, it will feature 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac dual-band, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, USB Type-C.
The Xiaomi Mi 5C is likely to be announced in February, 2017 and also the cost of the device is still not confirmed by the company.
