Sony Xperia XA2 received the FCC certification

imageRecently, the purported images of the upcoming Sony Xperia XA2 in rectangular look with sharp corner leaked on the web and hints on its arrival in coming days. Now the device Sony Xperia XA2 received the FCC certification without revealing a single specification of the device.

CaptureAccording to the recent rumor, the upcoming device Sony Xperia XA2 will come with 4GB RAM. It will be powered by the MediaTek Helio P20 chipset and runs on Android version7.0.

The camera section of the device will include a rear camera of 23MP with f/2.0 aperture and a front-facing camera of 16MP with aperture f/2.2. It will support Type-C USB port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The rumors also suggested that the device will cost CNY 2,200 ($320/€300).

You can recall the predecessor Sony Xperia XA launched in India on May, 2016 which sports a bezel-less 2.5D curved screen with 5-inch HD display, a pixel density of 294PPI, 2GB RAM. It is powered by 64-bit Octa-core processor with MediaTek Helio P10 (MT6755) chipset coupled by Mali-T860 GPU and run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It has internal storage capacity of 16 GB, which can be further expandable upto 200 GB via microSD card slot. It has the dimension of 143.6 x 66.8 x 7.99 mm and weight of 134.7grams.

The camera section of the device includes a rear camera of 13MP with Exmor RS sensor and Hybrid Autofocus and front-facing camera of 8MP with 88-degree wide-angle lens.

Connectivity wise, it includes the same features as used in the Sony Xperia X like 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.2 and NFC.
