A couple of days ago, a rumor surfaced on the web that the upcoming device LG G6 will come with upgraded Quad DAC which will make static noise down by 50%. The 32-bit DAC will have the ability to control the left and right channels separately, for a more balanced audio experience to the users also the increased circuit integration helped to bring down loss of information and overall distortion to just 0.0002 percent.
Now the leaked teaser of the device LG G6 revealed that it will come with IP68 certification for water and dust resistance. Also the other teaser just unveiled after the first one related to the battery capacity that the device will be powered by more than 3,200 mAh battery that is it may be 3300mAh.
The upcoming device LG G6 will sport IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display of 5.7-inch with the resolution of 1440 x 2880 pixels, aspect ratio of 18:9. It will come with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It will have 6 GB RAM, internal storage capacity of 64GB which can be further expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card slot. It will be powered by Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 821chipset with the Quad-core processor of (2×2.35 GHz Kryo & 2×1.6 GHz Kryo), Adreno 530 GPU and runs on Android OS, v7.0 (Nougat). It will come with a fingerprint sensor, a single speaker just right of the USB Type-C port, the volume buttons placed on its left side, SIM and microSD card on its right side and the 3.5mm headset jack on its upper side.
The camera section of the device LG G6 will include Dual 16 MP (29mm, f/1.8) + 16 MP (12mm, f/1.8), laser autofocus, OIS (3-axis), LED flash and a front-facing camera of 12 MP.
The device LG G6 will be announced on 26th February, 2016 at MWC in Barcelona.
As we know its predecessor LG G5 launched in India on June,2016 and it has metallic unibody with modular design sports a QHD IPS Quantum display of 5.3” with the resolutions of 2560×1440 pixels, pixel density of 554ppi and covered with a 3D arc glass It is powered by the latest 64-bit Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor with Adreno 530 GPU and 4GB of RAM. It comes with the internal storage capacity of 32GB, which can be further expanded up to 2TB via a microSD card slot. The device supports dual-SIM dual standby. The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based LG’s UX UI.
The camera section of the device includes dual rear bumpy cameras of 16MP with laser autofocus, dual-tone LED flash, 4K video recording support and the other is an 8MP sensor 135-degree wide-angle lens. It has also front-facing camera of 8MP for capturing selfie. It has the dimension of 149.4 x 73.9 x 7.7 mm and weighs 159 grams.
Connectivity wise, it features 4G-LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS, NFC, Bluetooth 4.2 and microUSB Type-C port. It also includes a fingerprint sensor for the security of the device which is situated just below rear camera of the device. It also features an Always-on display that shows the important notifications without switching on the screen.
It is powered by a 2800mAh battery and supports latest Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 technology. It comes with a unique slide out battery port at the bottom, so that the users can change the battery themselves. It has the modular design and be transformed into LG Cam+, Hi-Fi Plus, and 360 VR.
