A couple of years ago, a rumor surfaced on the web that Samsung is working on foldable display Smartphones known internally as ‘Project Valley’.
Now a latest rumor revealed via Weibo that a couple of foldable smartphones namely Galaxy X1, Galaxy X1 Plus with model numbers SM-X9000 and SM-X9050 likely to be announced in coming days.
According to the Weibo listing, Samsung Galaxy X1 will run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow while the Samsung Galaxy X1 Plus will run on updated Android Nougat. Except these, we have no information related to the specifications of both the models.
Since, the company has filed a patent for foldable smartphones that are expected to come in around design with a hinge in the center. The patent sketches revealed that the smartphone has a bendable section in the middle that will allow users to fold the smartphone like a flip phone.
Hence, we have to wait for few more days to see two different types of foldable smartphones one of which will sport flat display on each side while the other foldable smartphone will feature a single flexible OLED display in coming days.
