The Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer Asus announced its latest affordable device Asus Zenfone Peagasus 3S. It is the successor of the Asus Pegasus 3, which was announced in June last year in China. The main attraction of the device is its massive battery of 5000 mAh and its latest operating system Android 7.0 Nougat.
The device ZenFone Pegasus 3S with metallic uni-body construction sports a 5.2-inch HD IPS display with the resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels , and is covered by a 2.5D glass. It comes with 3GB RAM, internal storage capacity comes in two versions 32GB and 64GB, which can be further expanded up to 2 TB via microSD card slot. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor of 1.5 GHz with Mali-T860 MP2 GPU and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat. It has a fingerprint sensor placed in its home button.
It will available not only in China but also likely to be available globally in coming days. The cost of the device is not confirmed yet but it will be around $290.
