Recently, the company Lenovo released a teaser image which revealed that the device will be announced on 20th December, 2016 and finally the Chinese smartphone manufacturer kept it’s promise and launched the device for the Chinese users at mentioned schedule, as stated earlier. The device comes with the cost of CNY 2,299 (Rs. 22,500) for the 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM version and the 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM variant costs CNY 2,499 (approx. Rs. 24,500).
The dual-SIM device Lenovo ZUK Edge sports 5.5-inch full-HD TDDI display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It comes with 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM and the 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM variant, non-expandable internal storage capacity of 64GB. It has the dimension of 142.9×74.5×7.68mm and weighs 160 grams.
It is powered by 2.35GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC chipset and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat-based ZUI 2.5.
The camera section of the device Lenovo Zuk Edge includes a rear camera of 13MP with a 1.34-micron pixel Samsung ISOCELL sensor, an f/2.2 aperture, PDAF+CAF hybrid autofocus, and a high-brightness flash. Also it features a front-facing camera of 8MP with a 1.12-micron pixel sensor, and an f/2.2 aperture.
Connectivity, it features 4G LTE (with support for Indian LTE bands), Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.1, and GPS/ A-GPS and also includes an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, magnetometer, and proximity sensor.The Lenovo Zuk Edge is powered by 3100mAh battery.
