The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Doogee who is known for manufacturing affordable smartphones launched Doogee T5 in August, 2016. Now the company launched its latest Y-series device Doogee Y6 Max at the cost of $150 (Rs.9000).
The device with metallic body Doogee Y6 Max sports a Full HD IPS display of 6.5” with the resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, pixel density of 339ppi, 3GB of RAM, internal storage capacity of 32GB, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card slot. It comes with 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla glass, which protects the screen from scratches and dust.
It is powered by a MediaTek MT6750T Octa-core processor of 1.5 GHz with Mali T860 MP2 GPU and runs on Android Marshmallow v6.0. It has the dimension of 171.3 x 89 x 8.95mm and weighs 250 grams.
The camera section of the device includes a rear camera of 13MP with 5-piece lens, f/2.2 aperture, PDAF, LED flash which has the capacity to record a video in 1080p resolution at 30 frames per second and a front-facing camera of 5MP with 84-degree wide angle lens, anti-shake and beauty mode for capturing selfies and video calling.
The device features Hi-Fi audio technology which enables the device Doogee Y6 Max to offer magnificent audio performance. It has Dual Hybrid SIM functionality with 4G LTE network connectivity, and the bands support download speed up to 300Mbps and upload speeds up to 60Mbps.
Connectivity wise, the device Doogee Y6 Max features Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth v4.0, EDGE, GPRS, FM-radio, 3.5mm audio jack, A-GPS, and micro USB v2.0 port connectivity. It also includes various sensors such as Proximity, Accelerometer, Light, Gravity, Geomagnetic, E-compass, Gyroscopic, and Hall Sensor. It is powered by a massive non-removable battery of 4300mAh with fast charging.
The company has already started the sale of the device in China in Shimmer Gold and Glacier Silver colors.
