Earlier of this month Huawei announced a couple of devices Huawei Mate 9 and Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design. Now the company finally announced the device Huawei Mate 9 Pro in an event at China. Since, the renders of the device Huawei Mate 9 Pro already revealed on the web.
The device Huawei Mate 9 Pro is the latest version of the Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design which sports Quad HD AMOLED 2.5D curved glass display of 5.5” with the resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. It comes with 4GB RAM with 64GB storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage, which can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card slot. It is powered by Octa-Core Huawei Kirin 960 processor with Mali G71 Octa-core GPU and runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat) with Emotion UI 5.0. The device also comes with Fingerprint sensor.
The camera section of the device Huawei Mate 9 Pro includes a 20MP (Monochrome) and 12MP (RGB) Dual rear cameras with Leica lenses, f/2.2 aperture, dual-tone LED flash, Laser AF, OIS and 8MP front-facing camera with f/1.9 aperture.
Connectivity wise, it features 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS, NFC and it is powered by 4000mAh battery with fast SuperCharge (3.5-5V – 5A / 9V-2A) technology , which will fully charge in 20 minutes, as the company confirmed.
The users can get the device Huawei Mate 9 Pro in Black, Space Gray, Moonlight Silver, Champagne Gold, Mocha Brown and Ceramic White at 4699 yuan (US$ 685 / Rs. 46390 approx.) for the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage version, while the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version will be available at the cost of 5299 yuan (US$ 772 / Rs. 52,315 approx.).
The company will make it available for the Chinese users from this month but it hasn’t decided its global availability till date.
