Recently, the specifications of the device Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016) revealed via AnTuTu and now the tech giant Samsung finally announced the device in Korea. It is the successor of Samsung Galaxy A8 which was launched in Japan in December, 2015.
The device Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016) sports Full HD Always-on Super AMOLED display of 5.7” with the resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, 3GB RAM, internal storage capacity of 32GB, which can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card slot. It is powered by 64-bit Octa-Core (Quad 2.1GHz & Quad 1.5GHz) 64 bit, 14 nm Exynos 7420 processor with Mali T760 GPU and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). It has the dimension of 156.6×76.8×7.2mm and weighs 182 grams.
The camera section of the device includes a rear camera of 16MP with LED flash, f/1.9 aperture and a front-facing camera of 8MP with f/1.9 aperture.
Connectivity wise the device features 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS/ GLONASS, NFC and also comes with Fingerprint sensor. It is powered by 3300mAh battery.
The users will get the Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016) in Blue, Grey and Pink colors at the cost of 649,000 won (US$588 / Rs. 39,240) in Korea. The company will make it available for pre-order from local operator SK Telecom from today.
