The device Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016) which was announced in Korea recently , is now preparing for its launching in India and hence in this regard it showed its presence on India’s import and export tracking website Zauba’s listing.
The Zauba also revealed its cost as Rs 13635(around $205) which is much lesser than the cost of the device in Korea as 649,000 won (US$588 / Rs. 39,240), which is unbelievable.
The device Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016) sports Full HD Always-on Super AMOLED display of 5.7” with the resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, 3GB RAM, internal storage capacity of 32GB, which can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card slot. It is powered by 64-bit Octa-Core (Quad 2.1GHz & Quad 1.5GHz) 64 bit, 14 nm Exynos 7420 processor with Mali T760 GPU and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). It has the dimension of 156.6×76.8×7.2mm and weighs 182 grams.
The camera section of the device includes a rear camera of 16MP with LED flash, f/1.9 aperture and a front-facing camera of 8MP with f/1.9 aperture.
Connectivity wise the device features 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS/ GLONASS, NFC and also comes with Fingerprint sensor. It is powered by 3300mAh battery.
The date of announcement is still not confirmed by the company yet for the Indian market.
