Lenovo already launched Lenovo Phab2 Pro at Tech World 2016 event in San Francisco with the partnership of Google. It is the world’s first Tango smartphone which comes with various features including Dolby Atoms Sound System, Motion Tracking, and 3D-Mapping Technology.
Earlier there was information that the device will be available from September but according to the latest information via US website that it will be available from 1st November, 2016. As mentioned at the US website under the Phab 2’s product page as “Coming Soon. Available November 1.”
The device Lenovo Phab 2 Pro has a full metal unibody design and it comes with a 2.5D larger IPS QHD display of 6.4” with the resolutions of 2560 x 1440 pixels, pixel density of 241PPI and 4GB LPDDR4 RAM. It has the internal storage capacity of 64GB which will further expandable via microSD card slot. It has the dimension of 88.57 x 179.83 x 6.98-10.7mm and weighs 259g.
It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 Octa-core processor of 1.8 GHz coupled with Adreno 510 Graphics and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It also includes a fingerprint sensor on its back just below the camera sensor.
The device comes with four cameras which include a front-facing camera of 8MP for Tango’s 3D mapping technology, a rear camera of 16MP along with a depth camera and a motion tracking camera on its rear side. It is powered by massive 4050 mAh battery with Quick Charge support for fast charging. It offers dual SIM dual standby.
The Lenovo Phab 2 Pro smartphone comes with 25 applications such as track object, virtual reality games, Domino and an educational app, etc and there is expectation that the company will add more apps in coming days to make it reach total of 100 apps.
Connectivity wise, the device features 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.0, GPS
The users will get the Lenovo Phab 2 Pro in Champange Gold and Gunmetal Grey colors at the cost of $499 (Rs. 33,355 approx.).
