Lenovo launched a couple of devices Moto Z and Moto Z Play in for the Indian users. Both the devices Moto Z and Moto Z Play already announced by Lenovo recently. Since, the company launched the devices at its fixed schedule as mentioned earlier.
The device Moto Z sports AMOLED Quad HD display of 5.5” made up of “aircraft-grade aluminum and stainless steel”. It has 4GB LPDDR4 RAM, internal storage capacity of 64GB which can be further, expanded up to 2TB via SD Card slot. It is powered by 2.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor with Adreno 530 GPU and runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS. It has the thickness of 5.2mm, dimension of 153.3 × 75.3 × 5.19mm and weighs 136g. It has dual-SIM functionality.
The camera section of the device Moto Z includes a rear camera of 13MP with dual-tone LED flash, OIS, Laser Autofocus, 1.12um pixel, f/1.8 aperture and a front-facing camera of 5MP f/2.2 aperture with a wide-angle lens.
Connectivity wise, it features 4G LTE (Cat 9), WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz) with MIMO, NFC and also come with USB Type-C Port, Fingerprint sensor, NFC. It also features Moto Mods connector, Water repellent nano-coating, USB-C port for headphones.
It is powered by 2600mAh Battery with Fast Charging up to 8 hours in only 15minutes.
It also comes with Moto Mods , which are the modular accessories that simply snap onto the phones’ due to the presence of powerful magnets and also it includes a Moto Insta-Share Projector, JBL SoundBoost, Moto Shells, and instant Power Pack.
The device Moto Z Play sports 5.5” 1080p Full HD Super AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection, pixel density of 403ppi, 3GB RAM, internal storage capacity of 32GB which can be further expanded up to 2TB via microSD card slot. It is powered by 2GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 processor with Adreno 506 GPU and runs on Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow). It comes with Single Nano-SIM / Dual SIM functionality. It has the dimension of 156.4 x 76.4 x 6.99mm; and weighs 165g.
The camera section of the device Moto Z Play includes a rear camera of 16MP with dual-tone LED flash, laser autofocus, phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF) and a front-facing camera of 5MP with LED flash and Wide-Angle lens. It also has a fingerprint sensor on the front and comes with front-ported loudspeaker, 3-microphones.
Connectivity wise the device features 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.0 LE, NFC, USB Type-C port. It also supports Moto Mods connector, Water repellent nano-coating, 3.5mm audio jack. It is powered by 3510mAh battery with Turbo charging.
The users can get the device Moto Z Play in Black and White versions at Rs. 24,999 while the Moto Z costs Rs. 39,999.
Both the devices will be available via Amazon.in and Flipkart .The users can get the Moto Mods separately at Rs 899.
