Kodak announced its first Android smartphone Kodak IM5 in 6th January, 2015 and it launched in the Netherlands at €280. Now the company announced its second Android smartphone Kodak Ektra.
The device Kodak Ektra sports a Full HD IPS display display of 5.0”-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) with Corning Gorilla Glass protection, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage capacity, which can be further expanded up to 128GB with microSD card slot. It is powered by 2.3GHz Deca-Core MediaTek Helio X20 processor with Mali-T880 MP4 GPU and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow).
The camera section of the device includes 21MP rear camera with dual LED Flash, PDAF, f/2.0 aperture, 6-axis OIS, Sony IMX230 sensor, 26.5mm lens and front-facing camera of 13MP.
Connectivity wise, the device features 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, USB Type-C and it is powered by 3000mAh battery with fast charging
The company will start the sale of Kodak Ektra in Europe from December, 2016 at the cost for £449 / €499 (Rs. 36,600 approx.).
