Last month, Huawei sent out invites for the press conference for the announcement for the phablet Huawei Mate 9 which will be held on 3rd November, 2016 in Munich. Now a latest render of the upcoming device Huawei Mate 9 Pro surfaced on the web via @evleaks revealed that the device will come with a Quad HD curved screen of 5.9” and it will also support Google’s Daydream VR experience and runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat).
The leaked image also unveiled its metallic body dual rear cameras with Leica SUMMARIT lenses, dual-tone LED flash and Laser AF.
According to the latest rumor, the device Huawei Mate 9 Pro will sport QHD display of 5.9” (1440 x 2560 pixels) with 2.5D curved glass, 4GB / 6GBRAM, 64GB / 128GB / 256GB storage, expandable memory with microSD. It will be powered by Octa-Core Huawei Kirin 960 processor and runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat) with Emotion UI. It will come with Hybird Dual SIM functionality and a Fingerprint sensor.
The camera section of the device will include 20MP Dual rear cameras with Leica SUMMARIT lenses, dual-tone LED flash, Laser AF and a front-facing camera of 8MP.
Connectivity wise the device will feature 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS, NFC and will be powered by 4000mAh battery.
Both the devices Huawei Mate 9 and Mate 9 Pro are likely to be announced at the same date on 3rd November, 2016.
According to earlier rumors, the Mate 9 with 3GB RAM and 64GB storage will cost 599 Euros (US$ 671 / Rs. 44,830 approx.) and the device with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage version will be available at 699 Euros (US$ 784 / Rs. 52,260 approx.), while the users will get the high-end version with 4GB RAM and 256GB storage capacity at 789 Euros (US$ 884 / Rs. 58,950 approx.). The company hasn’t revealed the cost of Huawei Mate 9 Pro yet.
