Last month, the device Samsung Z2 launched in India at the cost of Rs 4590. Now the company finally launched the device for the South African users. Also it is the first Tizen phone surfaced on the African region.
The device Samsung Z2 sports a WVGA TFT display of 4.0” with the resolution of 800 × 480 pixels, 1GB RAM, internal storage capacity of 8GB, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card slot. It is powered by 1.5 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Tizen OS 2.4. It has 5MP rear camera with LED Flash and a VGA front-facing camera.
Connectivity wise, it features 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and also supports dual-SIM functionality.It is powered by 1500mAh battery.
The device comes with Jio Preview offer which includes unlimited access to voice and data along with Jio apps .
The device features S bike mode for bikers and also has Ultra data saving (UDS) mode powered by Opera Max that compresses cellular data across all contents.
It also comes with My Money Transfer built-in app that helps the users to easily manage transactions and generate mini bank statements and also the company has offered internet free banking by simply using the unique MMID which can be linked to the registered smartphone through M Pin set by the user. Money transfer to/from popular private and public banks is supported using standard IMPS.
The users can get the device Samsung Z2 at the cost of ZAR 1,099($78). Also the users have the option to get the device via Vodacom with plans starting from R79 (around $6) per month.
