Lenovo Moto Z announced in June, 2016 and now the company Lenovo sent out invites for its launching in India on 4th October, 2016 along with Moto Mods in Indian market. The Moto Mods are the modular accessories that simply snap onto the phones’ due to the presence of powerful magnets and also it includes a Moto Insta-Share Projector, JBL SoundBoost, Moto Shells, and instant Power Pack.
The device Moto Z sports AMOLED Quad HD display of 5.5” made up of “aircraft-grade aluminum and stainless steel”. It has 4GB of RAM, internal storage capacity of 32/64GB which can be further, expanded up to 2TB via SD Card slot.
It is powered by Snapdragon 820 Processor and runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS. It has the thickness of 5.2mm, dimension of 153.3 × 75.3 × 5.19mm and weighs 136g. It has dual-SIM functionality.
The camera section of the device includes a rear camera of 13MP with dual-tone LED flash, OIS, Laser Autofocus, 1.12um pixel, f/1.8 aperture and a front-facing camera of 5MP f/2.2 aperture with a wide-angle lens.
Connectivity wise, it features 4G LTE (Cat 9), WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz) with MIMO, NFC and also come with USB Type-C Port, Fingerprint sensor, NFC.
It is powered by 2600mAh Battery with Fast Charging up to 8 hours in only 15minutes.
The cost of the device is not confirmed by the company yet, but it is expected that it will be available almost at the same range as available for the pre-order of the unlocked version in the US at cost of $699.99 (Rs. 46700 approx.).
