A couple of days ago, the images as well as the specifications of the device Moto Z Play leaked on the web. Now the Lenovo finally launched the device Moto Z Play officially. Since, it is the third member of the Moto Z family. Two of the members Moto Z and Moto Z Force already announced in June, 2016.It has mid-end specifications and it is compatible with MotoMods accessories.
The device Moto Z Play sports 5.5” 1080p Full HD Super AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection, pixel density of 403ppi, 3GB RAM, 32GB / 64GB internal memory which can be expanded up to 2TB via microSD card slot. It is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 SoC chipset and runs on Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow). It comes with Single Nano-SIM / Dual SIM functionality. It has the dimension of 156.4 x 76.4 x 6.99mm; and weighs 165g.
The camera section of the device includes a rear camera of 16MP with dual-tone LED flash, laser autofocus, phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF) and a front-facing camera of 5MP with LED flash and Wide-Angle lens. It also has a fingerprint sensor on the front.
Connectivity wise the device features 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.0 LE, NFC, USB Type-C port. It also supports Moto Mods connector, Water repellent nano-coating, 3.5mm audio jack. It is powered by 3510mAh battery with Turbo charging.
The users can get the device Moto Z Play in Black, Silver, Black Slate, White, Fine Gold and Sugar White colors at the cost of $449.99 (Rs. 30,123 approx.). It is available for the global users from September. In Europe it will be available for 499 Euros. The US users will get Moto Z Play Droid Edition via Motorola.com and Verizon for $408 ($17/month) on September 8, 2016.
