The Lenovo subsidiary ZUK announced the high-end device ZUK Z2 in China at the cost of RMB 1,800 ($275/€245) in May, 2016. Now the company has decided to launch the device ZUK Z2 for the Indian users in coming days. But the Indian users will get the device with different name as Lenovo Z2 Plus. Such information is confirmed by teaser image by the company. But the company hasn’t revealed the exact date of its launching.
The device Lenovo Z2 Plus sports Full HD LTPS 2.5D curved glass display of 5.0” with the resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, 4GB RAM, internal storage capacity of 64GB. It has the dimension of 141.65×68.88×8.45mm and weight of 149g.
It is powered by 2.15GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 820 processor with Adreno 530 GPU and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with ZUI 2.0.
The camera section of the device includes a rear camera of 13MP with LED Flash, f/ 2.2, 5P lens, ISOCELL sensor, PDAF, CAF dual-mode focus, EIS and a front-facing camera of 8MP with 1.4μm pixel size, f/2.0 aperture, 78.9-degree wide viewing angle. It comes with a U-Touch 2.0 fingerprint sensor.
Connectivity wise, it supports 4G LTE with VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4/5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, USB 2.0 Type-C. It is powered by 3500mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0.
Since, the company hasn’t declared its cost for the Indian users yet.
