Xiaomi finally decided to launch the device Xiaomi Redmi 3s in the Indian market on 9th August, 2016. The upcoming device will come in two versions Xiaomi Redmi 3s and 3s Prime. The device Xiaomi Redmi 3s Prime will have the similar specification like its global version.
It is expected that the device Xiaomi Redmi 3s Prime with full metal magnesium alloy unibody design sports HD IPS display of 5.0” with the resolutions of 1280 x 720 pixels. It is powered by Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430chipset with the 64-bit processor along with Adreno 505 GPU and runs on MIUI 7 based on Android. It comes in 3GB of RAM with 32GB storage capacity. It has the dimension of 139.3 x 69.6 x 8.5mm and weighs 144g and supports Hybrid Dual SIM (micro + nano / microSD).
The camera section of the device includes a rear camera of 13MP with PDAF, LED Flash, f/2.0 aperture, 1080p video recording and front-facing camera of 5MP with f/2.2 aperture and 1080p video recording.
Connectivity wise, the device features 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS + GLONASS and also supports a fingerprint sensor. It is powered by a battery of 4000mAh battery / 4100mAh (typical).
While the other version Redmi 3s likely to sport an IPS display of 5.0” with the resolution of 720pixels, 2GB of RAM and internal storage capacity of 16GB. It will be powered by Snapdragon 430 chipset.
The camera section of the device Redmi 3s will include a rear camera of 13MP and front-facing camera of 5MP. It will be powered by 4,100mAh battery. It will also support LTE and a hybrid dual-SIM slot and an IR blaster.
The users will get the device Xiaomi Redmi 3s and 3s Prime via Mi.com and Flipkart without registration at the cost of Rs 7,000 and Rs 9,000 respectively.
