Motorola launched an affordable 4G smartphone Moto G4 Play in May, 2016. Now the device is available in Canada via various carriers including TELUS, Virgin, Wind, and Bell. The users have the option to get the device for zero-down payment on a regular two year contract or they have to pay between $199 and $249 instantly.
Motorola Moto G4 Play sports HD display of 5.0” with the resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, 2GB RAM, internal storage capacity of 16GB, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card slot. It is powered by 1.4 GHz quad-core 64-bit Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) processor with Adreno 306 GPU and runs on Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow). It has Dual SIM functionality, dimension of 144.4x72x8.95-9.9 mm and weighs 137g.
The camera section of the device includes a rear camera of 8MP with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, 1080p video recording and front-facing camera of 5MP with f/2.2 aperture.
Connectivity wise, the device includes 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, GPS and it also features 3.5mm audio jack and FM Radio.
It will be powered by 2800mAh battery with Quick Charge. The device comes with water resistant nano coating body.
The Motorola’s India subsidiary on Twitter revealed that the device will be launched soon for the Indian users and the expected date of its launching is 6th September, 2016.The users will get the device Moto G4 Play via Amazon. The cost of the device is not confirmed yet.
