The Lenovo subsidiary ZUK announced its latest high-end device ZUK Z2 Rio Edition in China. It is for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. The device ZUK Z2 Rio Edition comes with almost similar specifications as of ZUK Z2, which was announced on May, 2016.
The device ZUK Z2 Rio Edition sports Full HD LTPS 2.5D curved glass display of 5.0” with the resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, 3GB RAM, internal storage capacity of 32GB. It has the dimension of 141.65×68.88×8.45mm and weight of 149g.
It is powered by 2.15GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 820 processor with Adreno 530 GPU and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with ZUI 2.0.
The camera section of the device includes a rear camera of 13MP with LED Flash, f/ 2.2, 5P lens, ISOCELL sensor, PDAF, CAF dual-mode focus, EIS and a front-facing camera of 8MP with 1.4μm pixel size, f/2.0 aperture, 78.9-degree wide viewing angle. It comes with a U-Touch 2.0 fingerprint sensor.
Connectivity wise, it supports 4G LTE with VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4/5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, USB 2.0 Type-C. It is powered by 3500mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0.
The users can get the device ZUK Z2 Rio Edition in Black and White versions at the cost of 1599 yuan (US$ 240 / Rs. 16110 approx.).The company will make it available in the Chinese market from 2nd August, 2016
