Recently, the live images of the upcoming high-end device of Sony Xperia with model number F8331 surfaced on the web. According to the latest information, now the device Sony Xperia F8331 will be known as Sony Xperia XR and it will be announced at IFA 2016 event, which will be held on September, 2016.
It is expected that the device Sony Xperia XR will sport a display of 5.1” with the resolutions of 1920 x 1080 pixels, 3GB RAM, internal storage capacity of 32GB, which can be further expanded up 200GB via microSD card. It is powered by Quad-Core Snapdragon 820 64-bit 14nm processor with Adreno 530 GPU and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). It will support Dual SIM (Optional) functionality and a Fingerprint sensor.
The camera section of the device will include a rear camera of 23MP with Exmos RS sensor, dual-tone LED flash, 4K video recording and front-facing camera of 13MP. Both the cameras will have the capacity to record 4K video.
Connectivity wise, the device will feature 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11a / b / g / n / ac (2.4GHz / 5GHz) MIMO, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/ GLONASS, NFC, USB Type-C port. The cost of the device is still unknown.
