Samsung Galaxy Note 7 video revealed iris scanner

Yesterday the first live hands-on video of the device revealed a curved glass protector for the device by Olixar. Now a latest video of the device revealed that it will come with iris scanning technology and hence supports the previous leaked information.

As we know an iris scanner has the capacity to detect 266 traits of the iris while a fingerprint scanner recognizes 40 traits of a fingerprint. Hence in order to register pupils, the users have to position the device 25-35 cm away from it.
According to the recent rumors , the device Samsung Galaxy Note7 will come with 5.7””Quad HD Super AMOLED curved dual edge display with the resolutions of 2560×1440 pixels, pixel density of 518ppi, 6GB LPDDR4 RAM, internal storage capacity of 64GB, which can be further expanded via microSD. It is powered by Octa-Core Exynos 8 processor / Quad-core Snapdragon 821 processor and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). It will also come with IP68 ratings, which will make it totally protection against dust as well as long period of immersion under pressure.
The camera section of the device will include a rear camera of 12MP with LED Flash, dual-pixel PDAF, Smart OIS and front-facing camera of 5MP.
Connectivity wise, it will come with 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2X2 MIMO), Bluetooth 4.2 LE, NFC, USB Type-C and also features S Pen stylus, Heart rate sensor, Fingerprint sensor, Iris scanner, Barometer. It will be powered by 3600mAh battery with fast charging (wired and wireless).

The device Samsung Galaxy Note7 will be announced in New York at 11:00 a.m. EDT (8:30 PM IST) on 2nd August, 2016.
