Japan’s first Android One phone- Sharp Aquos 507SH launched

CaptureThe Sharp Aquos 507SH launched and crowned as the first Android One device in Japan with mid-end specifications. It comes with IGZO LCD display of 5.0” with the resolutions of 720pixels, covered with rounded 2.5D Gorilla Glass 4 for its protection. It has the dimension of 142 x 71 x 8.8mm, 2GB of RAM and weighs 135g. It has the internal storage capacity of 16GB, which can be further expanded up to 200GB via a microSD slot. It is powered by a Snapdragon 617chipset and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The Aquos 507SH smartphone is water and dust resistant and comes with IPX8 certification which means it can survive in water for 30 minutes in up to 1 metre depth.

The camera section of the device includes a rear camera of 13MP with 1080p video and front-facing camera of 5MP.
Connectivity wise, it features 4G, GPS/ A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g /n, and Micro-USB.
The company hasn’t declared the cost of the device yet.
