The phablet Xiaomi Mi Max already launched in China on 10th May. Now the company has decided to launch the device in India on 30th June, 2016. Hence in this regard Xiaomi’s VP Hugo Barra tweeted that “Something BIG is coming to blow you away on 30th June, Indian Mi fans”, and also the tweet is added with the video, which fully confirmed its arrival in India on its fixed schedule.
The device Xiaomi Mi Max will come in three versions , the first with 3GB RAM, 32GB storage and Snapdragon 650 SoC variant, the second version with 3GB RAM, 64GB storage and Snapdragon 652 SoC and the third and the last version will have 4GB RAM, 128GB storage and Snapdragon 652 SoC chihpset. Since ,there is no confirmation about the version which will be launched in India.
The upcoming device Xiaomi Mi Max sports Full HD IPS 2.5D curved glass display of 6.44” with the resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, dimension of 173.1×88.3×7.5mm and weighs 203g.
It is powered by Hexa-Core Snapdragon 650 / Octa Core Snapdragon 652 processor with Adreno 510 GPU and runs on MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow).
The camera section of the device includes a rear camera of 16MP with dual-tone LED Flash, PDAF, f/2.0 aperture and front-facing camera of 5MP with 85-degree wide-angle lens, f/2.0 aperture.
It comes with Hybrid Dual SIM, Fingerprint sensor and infrared sensor.
Connectivity wise, the device includes 4G LTE with VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4 / 5GHz) MIMO, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS. It is powered by 4850mAh (typical) / 4760mAh (minimum) battery
The users can get the device Xiaomi Mi Max in gold, silver and light grey colors. The lower version of the device will be available at the cost of 1499 yuan (US$ 230 / Rs. 15335 approx.).
