Vodafone announced its latest upcoming device Vodafone Smart Platinum 7 and it has been already listed at its official website. It is the successor of the Vodafone Smart Ultra 6, which was launched in June, 2015.
The device Vodafone Smart Platinum 7 in metallic frame body sports AMOLED WQHD display of 5.5” with the resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, pixel density of 534ppi, 3 GB RAM, internal storage capacity of 32GB, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card slot. The device has the dimension of 154.0 x 75.65 x 6.99 mm and it weighs 155g.
It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor of 1.8 GHz along with Adreno 510 GPU and runs on latest Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. It supports dual SIM dual standby.
The camera section of the device includes a rear camera of 16MP with f/2.0 aperture, autofocus, zero second shutter lag, and dual LED flash. It can record videos upto 4K (2160p) at 30 frames per second and front-facing camera of 8MP with flash.
Connectivity wise, it features Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, FM Radio, 3.5 mm audio jack, NFC, and GPS and also it offers 4G LTE, which will the first 4G+ smartphone from the company. It is powered by 3000 mAh with quick charge 3.0 support. It comes with a fingerprint sensor on its back.
It will be available in Quartz Black version at the cost of £300 and also the users will have the option to get the device by paying £28 per month on contractual basis.
