Samsung Gear Fit2 announced @ $179

Samsung-Gear-Fit2Samsung announced its latest fitness tracker Gear Fit2, which is the successor of Gear Fit, which was launched in 2014.
The Samsung Gear Fit2 sports a Curved Super AMOLED display of 1.5” with the resolution of 216 x 432 pixels, 512 MB RAM, internal storage capacity of 4GB and it is powered by 1GHz dual-core processor and runs on Tizen OS (Compatible with phones running Android 4.4 or later with 1.5GB RAM or more)
It received IP68 certification which supports it to survive up to 30 minutes in depth of up to 1.5m of water and also makes it dust -resistance.
It features Standalone music player gives the option to the users to transfer music between the Gear Fit2and their smartphone with the Samsung Gear application.  It comes with Bluetooth v4.2 and also supported by different sensors like Accelerometer, Gyro, HRM, Built-in GPS, and Barometer. It is powered by 200mAh battery.
It automatically tracks 15 different fitness activities such as walking, squatting, yoga, treadmill and more. It also has a standalone music player that lets you transfer music between the Gear Fit2 and your smartphone with the Samsung Gear application. It has also GPS and a heart rate monitor (HRM) that can measure distance, pace, route and calories burned and heart rate.
The users can get the device in different versions including black, blue and pink in small and large sizes
It will be available at the cost of $179 (Rs. 12030 approx.) from 10th June, 2016.
